Mr. Md. Yer Ali, founder of the Ali Group of Companies, has established different companies to increase employment and bring the Rangpur region into the mainstream of industrial development. Over the last ten years he has established seven companies.

He began with agro-based manufacturing — Lalmoni Agro Limited and BD Feeds Limited. Three years later he expanded into real estate and construction with two additional companies: Ali Construction and Dredging (ACD) and Ali Estate Agency (AEA).

Through these companies he has delivered a wide range of works including land purchasing, land development, road construction, and embankment construction under the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) and the Teesta Solar Project under Beximco Engineering Limited.

At present, there are 2 companies are running 1st is Alibaba Theme Park and 2nd is Ali Fruits and Vegetables Cold Storage.

Particulars of the Founder

The founder Md. Yer Ali completed his Masters of Business Studies at Rajshahi University in the Finance and Banking department. He then joined a financial institution — First Lease International Ltd. (now First Finance Ltd.), which was established in 1994.

After fifteen years he left the role of Executive Vice President (EVP) and established himself as an entrepreneur. A skilled and experienced business leader, he has been attached to several ventures over a long career, achieving remarkable success through honesty and hard work.

Over this time he has developed the management and operational efficiency needed to run any industrial organisation successfully.
